Men, Hormones, and Aging

A man's body functions are controlled by a series of glands in a complex system known as the endocrine system.

The glands of the endocrine system are located in the testes, thyroid, pancreas, thymus and brain. Their function is to produce hormones that trigger certain body responses, like male sexual development and growth.

A man's production of hormones declines at a genetic rate and this greatly impacts the effects of aging on a man's life.

Major Hormones Associated With Aging

There are three primary male hormones that mostly affect aging…How to Boost Male Hormone Levels

Testosterone: This is the most important sex hormone, and is manufactured in the male testes. The function of this hormone is to aid in male reproductive system development. It also is responsible for hair growth, bone mass and other male sex characteristics.

Testosterone also is important for controlling the male sex drive, bone health, cholesterol levels, mood and concentration.

HGH (the "youth hormone"): HGH is a hormone that is produced in the pituitary gland. This hormone is responsible for regulating the whole male hormonal system. Its function is to regulate the body's growth from birth through adulthood.

HGH also stimulates the body's immune system, strengthens the bones and synthesizes the body's proteins.

Dehydroepiandrosterone (DHEA): This is hormone is also called the master hormone. That's because it is converted into other hormones in the body, which include corticosterone, progesterone, testosterone and estrogen.

Decrease in Male Hormones

When a male reaches 25 to 30 years old, his major hormones begin to decrease.
The production of a man's testosterone decreases by about one percent each year, beginning in his early 20s. By his mid 50s, his body will produce only about three-fourths of its original production. And when he's 70, he will only produce about 50% as much.

This production decrease is caused by the body's glands that naturally decline in production as the man ages. Some signs of decreased testosterone, DHEA and HGH include:

Osteoporosis, night sweating, thinning of hair, loss of strength, weight gain, sex performance problems, loss of sexual appetite, anger feelings and even depression.

Slowing the Decline of Hormones

But fortunately, science has come up with a way to relieve and practically reverse many of the problems associated with decreasing hormonal production.

In cases of an extreme deficiency of hormonal production, replacement therapy might be necessary. That includes using HGH injections to replace the lost testosterone in the body. In instances of normal aging, a more affordable, convenient and safer solution is available. It comes in a natural herbal supplement called Provacyl.

Provacyl helps boost your body's natural production of male hormones, which include HGH, testosterone and DHEA. And that means improved mental clarity, increased energy and enhanced male sex drive. No prescription is needed for this product and no side effects have been reported by those using it.

Stop hiding in shame. Male andropause is a reality. But now you can do something about it and look younger now than we were before.
